Manufacturing Technology of Phosphinothricylalanyl-Alanine
Phosphinothricylalanyl-alanine (PTT) is a tripeptide which is composed of one special Amino acid-phosphinothricin(Pt) and two Alanines. It has a high Herbicidal Activities and also some antibacterial activity. Ptt’s antibacterial activity comes from its Pt releasing when it reaches at cells. Because the structure of Pt is similar to glutamic acid, Pt as a blocker of glutamine synthase can hinder the glutamine biosynthesis, which makes plants accumulate of ammonia and die.
PTT is one high bioactive antibiotic substance to kill the weed. It is sprayed during the weed, no Selection and .no absorption. Weed spectrum: annual or perennial gramineous and broad-leaved weed.
Toxicity: lower toxic antibiotic herbicide, safe to man, fish, animal and environment.
