High Performance Strain and New Process for L-Threonine
L-Threonine, a kind of important amino acid, is mainly used in medicine, food strengthening, feed additive,etc. The market demand at home and abroad for L-Threonine recently is growing strongly year by year and the annual growth rate of international market has reached to over 20%. For many years the demand of  L-Threonine keeps balance in domestic market but recently the market is rising. Every year a large number of L-Threonine needs to be imported as domestic production can not meet the needs of the market. Promisingly, the market demand at home and abroad for L-Threonine will still increase by larger ratio in future so that in a short time the imbalance between supply and demand of domestic market is unable to thoroughly solve and the  L-Threonine still needs to be imported. Therefore, the L-Threonine market has a encouraging prospect.

Fermentation Method and chemical synthesis can be used in the product of L-Threonine whose growth rate has reached to over 20% in the world market. Nowdays, fermentation method is mostly used in the world by taking casein, fibroin and sericin etc. as main raw materials. For a long time, the international market demand of L-Threonine maintains steady growth which is one of the fastest increasing varieties in demands among the amino acids and mainly used in medicine, chemical reagent, food strengthening and feed additive etc. Especially the amount of L-Threonine on feed additive increases rapidly which is often added to feed of impuberism piglets and poultry and it is the second limited amino acid of pig feed and the third limited amino acid of poultry feed. For many years, Eurpoe consumes about 70% of the global consumption of L-Threonine as most raising households in Europe take less L-Threonine wheat as feed.

Technical Proposal:

There are three preparation methods for L-Threonine: chemical synthesis method, fermentation method and protein hydrolysis among which fermentation method is the most advanced. And we use gene engineering strain(Escherichia Coli) in the L-Threonine fermentation production.
