ETHYL β-D-GALACTOPYRANOSIDE, also called AC1NSVA,
SCHEMBL2446113, is the β-D-GALACTOPYRANOSIDE type
of ethyl galactoside. Studies found it is a
potential inhibitor of phosphatidylinositol
biosynthesis in mycobacteria. Used as an indicator
ligand to determine K values for nonchromophoric
carbohydrates by continuous displacement titrations,
measuring either fluorescence or difference in
absorption of the indicator; Potential inhibitors of
