D-FRUCTOSE 2,6-DIPHOSPHATE SODIUM SALT， whose free
base is Fructose 2,6-bisphosphate. Fructose 2,6-
bisphosphate is a phosphorylating agent regulate
glycolysis and gluconeogenesis through allosterically
affecting the activity of the enzymes
phosphofructokinase 1 (PFK-1) and fructose 1,6-
bisphosphatase (FBPase-1).
An essential phosphorylating agent for glucose-
regulated gene transcription and other ChREBP target
genes in hepatocytes. |
